Great place to grab a couple bobas with my kid! The fruit tea and the smoothies do not have milk, which we avoid due to lactose intolerance. However, they also have almond and soy milk in case we had wanted a milk drink with an alternative milk. Thanks so much!

Cute, modern aesthetic. Everyone has been very nice and helpful when we've gone. We like their red bean bingsoo. The shaved ice is like snow. Some places are more like ice chips, but it's like freshly fallen powder snow that melts on your tongue. They use a honey powder, which is unique. Not too sweet but really good! We also like getting plain bubble waffle for our kids. These are just so-so. The Hong Kong or Taiwanese style we like has a bouncy chew and eggier taste--this is not that. But it's still a nice treat for our kids.

This place is great place to go as a downtown cafe and offers decent drinks and baked goods. I had the bubble waffle, Pineapple Mango smoothie, also their hot chocolate, they were incredibly flavorful. The food is reasonably priced and quite delicious. Service is always awesome and very personable, was also very nice to the customers. The whole place was calming and cozy. No wonder why lot of their customers keep coming back and visit this place. Hangout Café is the best! I would definitely come back as it is one of the better cafes in the area.

The Hangout Cafe offers a wide variety of Asian drinks and desserts, with an array of delicious choices including Bingsoo and bubble tea. When my friend and I decided to visit, we opted for the bubble tea, and it did not disappoint. The banana and lychee flavors with boba were particularly delightful. The staff at the cafe were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we received our drinks promptly with minimal wait time. Additionally, the interior of the cafe is charming and impeccably clean. After such a positive experience, I am eager to return to The Hangout Cafe in the future.

An appropriately named restaurant, this cafe is convenient for hanging out though the furniture isn't the most comfortable for that purpose. Parking is pretty easy as the shopping center isn't typically super busy. The service is fairly quick and friendly and they do prepare drinks fairly quickly which are not the cheapest but no more expensive than nearby cafes. They have an impressive variety from coffee to milk tea to smoothies to specialty drinks. I did not expect to see dalgona milk tea and tiger sugar latte available on their menu. It is nice that they offer a variety of desserts like cake, bubble waffle, bingsoo, and cookies. Though bingsoo and bubble waffles are becoming more common in the suburbs now, its great to see them offer a fairly wide variety of flavors for each. Overall a good choice should you need a sweet treat in the area and need a casual place to hangout with others.

We stumbled here by accident on our way to another event and needed to kill some time. This is a very cute cafe with a casual vibe. They serve coffee, blended drinks, and desserts. We ordered an Iced latte and mint chocolate blended milkshake. They were both delicious. I'm excited to come back and try more food and drinks. The staff is friendly. Highly recommended!!

This is a nice little dessert, boba, and coffee place! Inside is clean and inviting, the service is friendly. Attention to detail is plain to see in the items. This is one place where the menu pictures actually resemble what you get. The dessert is where its at in my opinion. Those bubble waffles are yumz, as are the cakes! I tried the strawberry swirl cheesecake and the chocolate fudge cake. Both decadent. Great bubble teas. If you're in Palatine and/or surrounding area, your sweet tooth will surely deem this place as "hangout" worthy.

Decent coffee place in NW Suburbs of Chicago. The cashiers didn't seem very familiar with the options they have. Anyways, we ordered Hazelnut Latte and Hot Chocolate. Hot chocolate: it was actually good but they didn't have marshmallows to put in it (which i like). Hazelnut latte: not my taste, but my loved it. Good thing was both the drinks were served hot. They didn't have comfortable seating. They have metal chairs. Sitting there for 20-25 mins was very uncomfortable. They have gender specific restrooms. Big area for the cafe and could be improved upon seating arrangement and decor.

Nice Korean Hangout to get dessert after stuffing oneself at KBBQ WiFi isn't always accessible or fantastic but it's entertaining to see kids gaming and sucking up the bandwidth.
